About Tactiq Chess

Tactiq Chess is the official showcase for the Tactiq mobile app for Android. Here you can explore our training philosophy and try the three interactive daily puzzles, while the complete training experience — featuring 15,000 to 350,000+ curated puzzles, deep Stockfish analysis, Revenge Mode, and 100% offline access — lives on your phone.

Where the puzzles come from

Every position was reached in a real game and verified with a chess engine. From a large pool of tactical positions we select only the clearest and most instructive puzzles — everything else is discarded. The Premium database is regularly updated with fresh positions from new games.

Open-source work this site stands on

• chess.js validates moves in the browser (BSD-2-Clause).
• Chess piece graphics by Cburnett, used under the BSD licence option.
• The site is generated with Astro and served as static files.
• The Android app uses Stockfish for analysis; its licence notice is available inside the app.

Privacy in one paragraph

This website sets no cookies. Your puzzle progress, if any, stays in your browser's local storage on your device. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies or fingerprinting. Details are in the privacy policy.
